Invitation to RPBIC 2007

Royal Pahang Billfish International Challenge 2007

For the first time ever, Labuan Marshal has been invited by the associates of Royal Pahang Billfish International Challenge (RPBIC) 2007, the Unit Joran of Berita Harian as the competition's Marshal, by the following the rules and regulations of the International Game Fish Association - 'IGFA'.

This RPBIC competition has been fully registered under the IGFA-World Championship – Qualifying Event, in which winners are legible to the ‘IGFA - World Championship competition being held in Mexico.

Labuan Marshal in association with the Labuan Watersports Association (LWA) staffs and IGFA representatives - Mr Patrick G. Song of IGFA - Borneo and Mr. Aziz Daud of IGFA - Peninsular Malaysia arrived at Serai Beach & Golf Resort, Rompin Pahang to days before the competition. Together, we worked hand-in-hand with the marshals of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) of Labuan F.T. and Peninsular Malaysia members and marshals of the Malaysian Angling Association - PeMM (Persatuan Memancing Malaysia).

With the cooperation from all parties and marshals, the RPBIC 2007 competition was a huge success indeed. In advanced , this helps Labuan Marshal to further their efforts as well as gaining knowledge in particularly in judging an international fishing competitions in the future.

Labuan Marshal would like to thank everyone aspecially the Unit Joran of Berita Harian for their trust and faith in us and for inviting us to handle this RPBIC 2007 copetition.
